Param Hansa Centre for Computational Oncology (PHCCO) aims at fostering research in predictive and quantitative mathematical models of cancer progression, metastasis, and tumor relapse. The objective is to identify the underlying fundamental dynamics of these multi-scale processes and to eventually improve patient outcome in the clinic.

This initiative aims to seed and nurture an active community of future leaders in computational oncology in India, through an inter-institutional, cross-disciplinary collaborative setup including academic research, clinic, and industry.

The Center is led by Prof. Mohit Kumar Jolly, who heads the Cancer Systems Biology research group at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).

PHCCO employs a strategic approach to build and promote a cadre of young scientists and researchers through a pool of inter-institutional and inter-discipline collaboration.
